Hello all! My name is Teresa and I am the the maker behind Hook & Ewe.
I learned to crochet from my mom six years ago (2013) while I was pregnant with my son, Lucas. She sat down with me for 30 minutes and the rest is history. Patterns read like music to me and my mind wondered with possibilities. I shared my creations and knowledge sporadically in my life for the next few years.
In the Fall of 2016 though I decided to start a “pop-up” boutique to “use up” my yarn stash and make a few pieces. I think my husband knew right then it was a bold faced lie that only I believed. Since then it has become my small business to share my creations and my love of crochet. I manage my online store throughout the year and during market season you can find me at the local vendor shows around Cincinnati, Ohio.
I love to share my makes, but I also absolutely LOVE my maker life! Follow along here on my blog to see what life is a maker is like and grab some inspiration along the way.
